  The people are kind and generous with their time, and I honestly still really miss them some days.
  
  I ended up leaving after I and multiple people I care about found out over a large span of time that the church isn't trauma or abuse conscious/informed. The leadership unfortunately actively participated in discounting or blaming abuse victims (specifically women) and ignored key leadership passages such as 1st Corinthians 5 in favor of leaving abusers in the church (in the hopes that they would eventually 'be restored') rather than protecting their flock.
  
  My intent with posting this review is that hopefully if you are in an abusive situation this will help keep you informed in your search for help. I also hope that Cornerstone eventually confronts it's past in Biblical repentance and reaches out to those it hurt in humility, keeping with its vision to pursue Christ-likeness.
